WELCOME TO LINDSAY OSBORNE PHOTOGRAPHY
I am a portrait photographer in Northeast Kansas who until recently specialized in outdoor Headshots, Couples, and Senior Portraits with a dash of family photography. I have been fascinated by photography and the gifts it brings to others since I was a young girl helping my photographer mom. I served joyful clients professionally for over seven years and although I am pausing photography sessions at this time, I plan to use this site to help others interested in photography!
A little more about me
My love of photography goes all the way back to when I was a tiny girl "helping" my mom in her home photography studio. She loves to recall memories of me telling her clients "just one more!" using my toy Polaroid at the same time she used her professional camera. My toy Polaroid would shoot plastic pictures across the room, making her clients laugh. I remember climbing a step-stool to look in her fancy camera and being fascinated by her bags of gear including colored and soft filters, etc. As I got older I helped her take orders at sporting photography events, and when she became a newspaper photographer and editor, I tagged along several times to watch her develop film in the newspaper's dark room. I remember that red light, the distinct smell of developer, seeing images come to life in liquid, and being hung on a line to dry.
Photography has changed a lot since I was little, but the meaningful place portraits hold in our lives remains strong. Once I became a mom myself, I knew I wanted to learn how to beautifully capture and document my own children's personalities, milestones, and growth. I didn't want to stop there, however, and soon began doing so professionally for others. Although I am not providing photography sessions for others at this time, my passion for photography and my desire to serve others remain. Therefore I am excited to continue using this site to help others who are interested in photo
